For the Ioniq, it comes with 118 horsepower with an interior-permanent magnet synchronous motor. Both feature a single-speed transmission with front-wheel drive. Enjoy faster acceleration with the LEAF and 236 lb.-ft. of torque as compared to 218 lb.-ft. of torque for the Ioniq. With just a little more power, the LEAF wins on performance. A locking/limited slip differential is also standard on the LEAF while not available on the Ioniq.
